Scholarship Application
EcoAction Magazine is a student-led environmental platform dedicated to raising awareness, fostering creativity, and supporting actionable solutions to solving environmental issues. Through this scholarship, we aim to provide financial support to students (middle school, high school, undergraduate, graduate...) who are developing projects that align with our mission — whether through scientific / artistic creations, advocacy campaign, or community engagement.
Scholarship Details
Award Amount: $300–$400 per project
Eligibility: Open to students worldwide (secondary school, undergraduate, graduate) working on environmental projects.

Category 1 - Climate innovation (e.g., renewable energy prototypes, waste reduction tech).

Category 2 - Environmental justice initiatives (e.g., community workshops, policy campaigns).

Category 3 - Creative artistic pieces (e.g., documentaries, zines, art installations).

Category 4 - Scientific research (e.g., biodiversity studies, sustainable agriculture).
Application Requirements

Project Proposal (800–1000 words): Mission & Vision, Goals & Objectives, Project Timeline, Executive Summary, Team, Budget

Portfolio / Past Examples: Links to past work on your official website / social media platforms

Video Pitch (optional but encouraged): 2-minute explainer to pitch your project + envision your expected impact with this funding

Innovation & Creativity

Projects that tackle environmental issues in unconventional ways

Fresh perspectives (novel way of activism or technology recreation) / Avoids cliche (not yet another 'recycling awareness poster')
Impact & Scalability

Projects with measurable outcomes (Number of participants, Amount of waste reduced, Amount of energy saved)

Potential to inspire replication (This project can be expanded worldwide to maximize its impact)

Targets an urgent or overlooked issue (This project responds to an urgent need in the local area, it is community-relevant)
Feasibility & Planning

Realistic timeline (6-month research phase vs Solve ocean plastic in 1 month)

Inclusivity & Equity
